Meet Neil Stratford, CEO

Neil Stratford started SC to bring a new level of client/agency relationship to the business community – wanting to be effective to clients in both the boardroom and the backroom.
As CEO of SC, Neil Stratford brings more than 15 years of marketing, promotions and special events experience to clients. He leads SC’s dedicated staff of marketing professionals in the development of tailor-made marketing programs that have helped to put some of SC’s clients at the top of their industries.

Since creating Strat-Comm in 1998, Stratford has enabled SC to offer a full line of all facets of traditional marketing services as well as branding consultation, media buying, sponsorship development and sales, as well as special-event development and management.

Over the course of his career, Stratford has developed marketing initiatives on behalf of Schering-Plough, Staples, PGA of America, 87th PGA Championship, Toys R Us, Marriott, The Hockey Company, Softspikes, Doral Resort and Spa, Plymouth Place, Prudential HealthCare, Fuji Film, Cooperland Development, Evian Indoor Pro Beach Volleyball, Nestle Under 16 National Cricket Championships (UK), Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, Atlanta Knights and Nashville Knights Professional Hockey Teams, Champ Golf, ProLink GPS, Hale Irwin Passport Program, Justballs.com and PGA.com.

 

Debbie Evans, Vice President of Communications

Debbie Evans joined Strat-Comm in 2007 with fifteen years of experience in business-to-business and consumer marketing communications.  Her experience has taken her from the floor of Germany’s largest travel trade fair to the top of Spain’s tallest roller coaster and from the training pool of Vallejo California’s beloved killer whale - Shouka to the swamps of the Louisiana bayou.

Evans has extensive experience in corporate communications, crisis management and media training, making her a well-rounded, strategic business partner. She served as Six Flags, Inc.’s corporate director of communications, providing strategic counsel and oversight of the company’s 39 parks worldwide.

After work with leading consumer brands including Target, Levolor Kirsch Window Fashions, HomeHero, EXPO Design Centers and The Home Depot, Debbie now calls Strat-Comm home.

 

Shayd Coots, Director of Marketing  

Shayd Coots joined Strat-Comm in 2007 after 7 years of business to business and business to consumer marketing. He has spearheaded innovative marketing and advertising initiatives, increasing market penetration, customer acquisition and consumer revenue. His expertise encompasses a wide range of specialties, including: guerilla, grass-roots and event marketing; Brand creation, positioning and development; as well as, corporate training, management and public relations.

Coot’s experience has brought him from the runways of fashion week to the boardrooms of the nation’s leading corporate giants. His brand management and product placement marketing has included Universal Studios, Staples Inc, CBS, Discovery Channel, J. P. Morgan Chase, Sony Pictures, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Monster.com, Billabong,  and Sports Illustrated.

Coots is responsible for all of Strat-Comm’s clients field marketing endeavors nationally as well as direct key brand management initiatives, marketing communications programs and promotional events.
